The Dish washer/Steward (floater) will be responsible for all dish washing and set up of banquet and club food and beverage events. Schedule and daily job function will be assigned based on business needs to cover breakfast, lunch and dinner events per requirement and standards. This position will also work on special projects/deep cleaning inventory of china and silver ware.

Position Responsibility:

- Operates/maintains dish washing equipment properly to provide clean, sanitized china, glass and silver
- Sorts/washes/stores all china, glassware, silverware, service wares, pots, pans, utensils
- Operates silver burnishing equipment
- Polishes silver serving equipment, silverware and utensils
- Maintains control over food and beverage china, glass, silver, cookware and service equipment inventories
- Set up china and silverware for all banquet areas prior to function per BEOs.
- Performs breakdown of all food service materials and equipment after banquet functions
- Cleans and maintains food and beverage storage/preparation/cooking areas and equipment, ensuring that they are kept at the highest level of sanitation and quality
- Other duties as assigned

Position Requirement
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read safety/hazard labels
- Ability to read and speak basic English
- Ability to stand, bend and stoop repetitively during an eight our shift
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of dish washing equipment operation, chemicals and chemical feed
- Must be flexible with schedules - shifts could be 7am - 4:30pm or 3pm - 11:30pm
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Cleans and maintains food and beverage storage/preparation/cooking areas and equipment, ensuring that they are kept at the highest level of sanitation and quality
