Job Overview

Chopt - Hudson Yards is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our kitchen, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Wash and sanitize all utensils, cutting boards, bowls, and other tools to the highest standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing station, adhering to our strict sanitation protocols
  • Ensure all chemicals are used properly and in the correct quantities, following our established procedures
  • Assist the team with cleaning duties as needed, including taking out the trash, sweeping, and mopping
  • Assist with food preparation when instructed by management, demonstrating a willingness to learn and adapt
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all storage areas, keeping our kitchen running smoothly
  • Ensure all walls, drains, ceilings, and floors are clean and sanitary at all times, upholding our high standards
Requirements
  • Ability to regularly lift boxes up to 50 lbs, demonstrating physical stamina and endurance
  • Comprehension and execution of correct setup and use of all dishwashing equipment, adhering to our safety protocols
  • Understanding and execution of food safety and sanitation protocols, prioritizing customer and staff well-being
  • Standing, stooping, kneeling, walking, wiping, reaching, bending, and lifting are required actions throughout a shift, requiring flexibility and adaptability
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple priorities during the shift, demonstrating strong organizational skills
  • Ability to perform duties that require standing for long periods and fast movement, maintaining a high level of energy and focus
