**Job Description: Traveling Biomedical Equipment Technician III**:
**Location: San Diego, 92105**:
The Traveling Biomedical Equipment Technician III will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and calibration of biomedical equipment at various healthcare facilities in the San Diego area. The technician will be required to travel to different locations and work independently to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform preventive maintenance, repair, and calibration of biomedical equipment
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Order parts and supplies as needed
- Document all work performed in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Provide technical support to end-users
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control policies and procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support

**Requirements**:

- Associate's degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair
- Strong knowledge of electronics, mechanical systems, and computer technology
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel to different locations as needed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass background and drug screen.
