First Financial Bank has an immediate opening for an **Agri Loan Assistant** in the Ag Office located in Nacogdoches, Texas.

The primary responsibility of this position is to assist the Ag Loan Officer and management in the performance of the daily duties as outlined below.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**: High school diploma or GED required plus one to two years of college preferred; Ag or business school training or equivalent. Two to four years financial or accounting experience. Some Ag lending experience preferred. Real estate knowledge helpful but not required.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:Request payments in form of checks and wires. Maintain log of loan disbursements on all loans. Request documents necessary for loan closings. Assist loan officer with loan committee packages. Order appraisals, title work, verifications, and other documentation necessary for loans. Schedule and request required reports. Handle written and oral correspondence with customers. Load financial data into computer using Excel and Word. File documents in loan files. Assist with other special projects for management. Maintain office operations in manager’s absence. All other duties as assigned by supervision.

**OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES**: Experience with computers, calculators, fax machines and copy machines. Requires strong computer background in Excel and Word. Good telephone and people skills a must. Looking for someone who is a self-starter and able to work independently. Must be able to handle multiple projects and priorities. Requires an individual who has excellent organizational skills and can work well under pressure.
