Hospice Clinical Resource Specialist

**Responsibilities**
- Works closely with Hospice Manager ensuring compliance.
- Oversight of scribe IDT process for team assigned.
- Provides Clinical and administrative leadership in on-going Process Improvement projects for the Hospice Division.
- Oversight of external reviews to ensure timelines are adhered too, reports are generated to management and education or process change developed for compliance.
- Completes audits as needed for quality and compliance timely and as instructed.
- Coordinates ICD 10 coding and hospice eligibility to ensure accuracy with Medicare guidelines and supporting documentation.
- Collaborate with different departments to improve outcomes.
- Demonstrate flexibility by accepting other duties as assigned for which qualified.
- We use EPIC for EMR, position requires computer skills for accurate and concise documentation.
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Experience in auditing documentation
- Experience in quality assurance
- Coding certification
- Process Improvement
**Minimum Qualification**
- Associates Degree in nursing or health related field
- Recent community health/hospice experience preferred
- Experience in quality processes preferred
**Required**
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance listing employee as insured operator
- Satisfactory driving record
- Satisfactory criminal record
