You will work with members of our editorial, marketing and social media teams. There are several primary posts per day and you’ll provide the cherry on top by
finding engaging secondary content for Instagram stories, commenting on relevant posts, and finding like-minded readers to follow and connect with.

If you’re interested in the creative elements of social media marketing and management, our team will welcome your ideas and provide opportunities for you to execute concepts that align with client objectives.

This position is all about relationships: building them, maintaining them, and striving for effective connection across social media platforms

We’re looking for someone who can write in various voices, navigate social media platforms with ease, and manage several modes of outreach throughout
the day.

**Responsibilities**
Keep up with emerging social media trends and topics
- Manage and track influencer outreach for social media
- Add to our existing database of bookish social media contacts
- Bring a fresh perspective to ongoing campaigns and projects
- Construct straightforward graphics on Canva or Photoshop as needed
- Work with our members of our social media team

**Requirements**:

- Two years of commensurate experience in social media, communications, or marketing
- Excellent writing skills, with the ability to write in voices other than your own
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work unsupervised
- Strong time management, organizational skills and follow-through
- Familiarity with Canva/Photoshop/video editing (and passion for reading/writing) is a plus

This is a full-time position in Westport, CT. We have a hybrid schedule with Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in the office in Westport, CT

Pay: $35,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
