**Duties**:
As a FORCE ROTATION ANALYST at the GS-0301-12 some of your typical work assignments may include:

- Force Rotation Analysts are responsible to support and execute the development of sourcing recommendations and plans to meet the Joint force requirements of Combatant Commanders.
- The Global Force Management Allocation Plan (GFMAP) ultimately schedules, orders, and deploys service members from all Services in support of Combatant Commander Requirements worldwide and routinely encompasses over 200K personnel and hundreds of ground units, aircraft and naval platforms.
- The incumbent serves as Force Rotation Analyst source of expertise and continuity for the Force Rotation branch for all matters related to operational policy, procedures, and doctrine in support of the Global Force Management (GFM) rotational force-providing mission.

**Qualifications**:

- You may qualify at the GS-12, if you fulfill the following qualifications:

- A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service:

- Executing Global Force Management (GFM) responsibilities including developing, coordinating, submitting and tracking either rotational or emergent deployment requirements;.
- Working with or interpreting force deployment orders published in the Global Force Management Allocation Plan;.
- Preparing written Flag/General Officer/Agency Leadership level briefings for presentation and decision.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

**Education**:
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
