The AWS Americas Industry team is looking for an experienced Financial Services Industries (FSI) - Data Providers Industry Leader to join our fast-paced team to work with our strategic partners to lead and execute AWS Data Providers business with partners, drive joint GTM strategy, and help Data Providers’ customers solve their business problems.
As the FSI - Data Providers Industry PDS for the Americas, you will be owning & managing the Data Providers Partner business for Americas. Additional responsibilities include Data Providers Industry partner pipeline management, contributing to the Data Providers partner ecosystem strategy, managing strategic relationships with influential Technology (ISV), Consulting (G/SI), and driving CXO-level relationships with Data Providers’ customers, and partners.
You will possess the deep Data Providers industry background and/or consulting experience that enables you to engage at the CXO level with these life sciences customers and partners. You will demonstrate credibility as a Data Providers expert and interact with partners, enterprise customers and sales/field reps. The position also requires a strong technical acumen, along with working knowledge of the Data Providers consulting services landscape. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about new business models, solution selling, and partner engagement to help build and convey compelling value propositions for AWS customers through AWS Partners. You should also have a proven track record of influencing innovation through partners with prior solution and program successes. We are looking for those individuals that think differently and dare to deliver the best overall solutions and business models in the world.
6+ years industry work experience with a large FSI Data Providers company is strongly preferred.
Additional experience consulting or business development specifically with Data Providers companies is preferred.
Key job responsibilities
Be part of the Americas Industry Team to drive the overall global AWS Data Providers partner strategy to our internal and external stakeholders including the AWS sales teams, partner sales, as well as media coverage and industry events.
Executing the Global Data Providers Partner strategic plan for the Americas which includes aligning with partner development managers and account managers who manage our top AWS technology and consulting companies.
Build C-level and Line of Business (LoB) relationships with our top Data Providers customers, and partners.
Execute go-to-market and routes-to-market plans that have clear and measurable ROI.
Represent the AWS Data Providers partner strategy internally and externally including presenting at Executive Briefings and Conferences.
Prioritize AWS investment in partners who focus on Data Providers, including leading startups, consulting companies, and established ISV/SaaS technology vendors.
