Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Supervisor to join our team. The Shipping Supervisor will oversee and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including shipping and receiving operations.

Duties
- Supervise and lead a team of shipping associates
- Ensure all outgoing shipments are accurate and on time
- Coordinate with carriers for efficient freight movement
- Implement and maintain warehouse safety protocols, including OSHA standards
- Utilize warehouse management systems such as AS400 for inventory control
- Monitor and improve shipping processes to enhance efficiency
- Collaborate with other departments, such as E-commerce and Logistics, to optimize operations
- Oversee the use of forklifts for loading and unloading shipments

Qualifications:
High School Education
Valid Driver’s License
Excellent problem solving, organizational, time management and analytical skills.
Exceptional communication abilities
Strong computer proficiency.
Previous working experience in a Warehouse as a Shipping Lead is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
Must be self-motivated and be able to perform duties in an independent manner with mínimal supervision.
Detail oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up skills.

Maintain a positive attitude.

Duties and Requirements:

- Need to have 2-3 years of experience as Shipping team lead.
- Shipping leads are responsible for MANAGING ENTIRE SHIPPING OPERATIONS, overseeing shipping operations, and ensuring accurate shipment documentation.
- Shipping leads need to have excellent communication skills to ensure the shipping and receiving process runs smoothly and that the company and its customers are satisfied
- Shipping leads need to be able to keep track of incoming and outgoing shipments and organize the information so that it is easy to find and use
- Line leaders, including shipping leads, need to be able to quickly assess problems that may arise during a shift and come up with a solution
- PREVIOUS forklift experience IS PREFERRED
- Shipping leads need to understand and follow company quality policy and safety rules
- Shipping leads use customer orders by receiving, processing, and preparing them for shipping and manufacturing
- Need to have proper co ordination with the shipping and the production team

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
