The LTL Shipping supervisor plays a key role and is the main point of contact between the sales department, Fabrication Manager, and the Finishing department.


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • This person will be responsible for being the main point of contact for LTL orders orders and making sure they are packaged complete.
  • Will coordinate product flowing into and out of the Linings and Finishing Departments.
  • Scheduling delivery dates, ordering delivery trucks, meeting delivery deadlines through supervision of production and work progress.
  • Ability to plan and direct the work of the workforce and ensure objectives are being met.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to communicate on all levels. (Fluency in Spanish is desired).
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects and meeting all required deadlines.
  • Strong sense of urgency in meeting customer needs.
  • Good understanding of safety and the desire to following all established procedures are required.

  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and collaborate with coworkers.
  • Commitment to providing excellent customer service to all individuals including customers, visitors, and coworkers.
  • Technical proficiency in a variety of common administrative tasks.

Experience:

  • Proven supervisory and management experience on all levels is required.
