**JOB DESCRIPTION**: Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks including filling and organizational tasks. The Receptionist/Cashier will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, ensuring office work is up to date, and handling customer transactions with payments, receipts, refunds or change.

**Essential Functions**: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
- Answers telephones and directs the caller to the appropriate associate.
- Greets and directs visitors to the company.
- Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel.
- Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and other related information.
- Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.
- Creating accounting receipts for sales and finance departments for vehicle deposits and CODs.
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, or automatic debits.
- Issue receipts, refunds or change due to customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of desk and guest waiting room.
- Must be able to present oneself is a professional manner.

**Starting pay $16.00 with room for growth**

**Work Environment**: This job operates in a professional office environment within an automotive dealership. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. **Business dress code.**

**Physical Demands**: This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing and standing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.

**Position Type and Expected Hours of Work**: This is a part-time position:

- ** Three to four days a week 3:30-8:00 pm, and alternating Saturdays from 8am-5pm or 7am-12pm (Closed Sundays)**:

- **We are willing to be flexible with weekday start times**

**Required/Preferred Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Customer service experience
- One year of administrative experience or customer service
