Company Overview:
Join our team at Maryland Yards, a new and exciting establishment committed to providing exceptional hospitality and memorable guest experiences. We are currently seeking enthusiastic Hosts/Hostesses to be part of our dynamic team dedicated to delivering top-notch service in a welcoming environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and provide menus.
- Assist in managing reservations and seating arrangements efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby area, ensuring a pleasant first impression for guests.
- Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle guest inquiries, address concerns promptly, and strive to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Manage guest flow during peak hours to optimize seating capacity and minimize wait times.
- Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
- Uphold a professional demeanor and positive attitude while interacting with guests.

**Experience**:

- Prior experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on providing exceptional guest service.
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and an understanding of guest relations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of basic food service procedures and willingness to learn new tasks.
- Passion for delivering outstanding service and creating memorable guest experiences.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 40 per week

Physical setting:

- Upscale casual restaurant

Shift:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift

Weekly day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
