**HIGH SCHOOL COMPUTER INFORMATION SUPPORT INSTRUCTOR
**STARTING DATE**:August 2024

**REPORTS TO**:High School Principal

**SALARY RANGE**:Based on appropriate salary schedule, commensurate with education and

experience.

**BENEFITS**:

**WORK WEEK/YEAR**:183-day school year calendar

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**:

- high school graduate
- minimum of 5 years work experience in the Information Technology field
- possess, or ability to obtain, a valid Ohio teaching license in Business

Information Systems, Computer Network Technician, and/or

Programming/Software Development
- ability to instruct high school youth in an educational setting
- ability to pass FBI/BCI background checks
- willingness to work/assist with an advisory group
- willingness to be involved in the school improvement process

**PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- ability to plan and develop an instructional program in Computer

Information Support
- excellent organizational and human relations skills
- possess, or ability to obtain, van driver certification

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- develop curriculum for the Computer Information Support program that

may include computer programming, computer repair, network

administration and network security
- teach high school youth in the area of computer information support
- resume
