Teaches group fitness classes as needed. (2) Monitors fitness equipment for safety and required maintenance; assists with special events; develops educational programing; records statistics on attendance; updates member files. (3) Has basic understanding of medical conditions affecting exercise performance and the medications associated with these conditions; continues knowledge of the health/fitness field by reading professional journals and attending workshops and conferences; has good understanding of member emergency protocols. (4) Attends all trainings, conferences, and other meetings as required. (5) Maintains required licensures, certifications, and continuing education requirements, if any. (6) Meets all job safety requirements and all applicable safety standards that pertain to essential functions. (7) Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
