As a Defense Mission Analyst, you’ll bring your consulting, analytical, strategic, and tactical expertise as you lead a team on projects for our clients. You’ll research, develop, analyze, assess, plan, and support to solve unique client challenges. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, or instrumentation related to foreign threats or homeland security as part of service and joint missions.

You’ll oversee the work we do for mission analytics and the solutions we deliver for military missions, defense planning, national security, strategic planning, defense mission planning, and national defense strategy.

**You Have**:

- 5+ years of experience supporting government and department of defense tactical and strategic mission areas
- Knowledge of department of defense planning, logístical, and acquisition cycles
- Ability to research, assess, design, and solve complex problems or solutions for government clients
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross functional teams
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a Psychology, Science, Strategy, or Analytics field

**Nice If You Have**:

- Experience with delivering solutions that solve complex performance problems and using quantitative approaches with a blend of analytical and technical expertise
- Knowledge of department of defense strategy and policy related to mission performance areas
- Ability to travel

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 to $250,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
