**Job Description**:
AECOM is seeking an Entry-Level Interior Designer to be based in New York, NY.
- This position is expected to begin immediately._

**Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
+ Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of science alternatives.

+ Provides the planning, design and construction of buildings, landscapes and products. This group creates the style and method of design and construction of buildings and other physical structures.

+ Exercises sound judgment in assessing problem situations or complex design issues and uses effective approaches for choosing a course of action or developing appropriate solutions.

+ Understanding of the discipline’s equipment and material lists.

+ Advises the Interior Design Director/Leader about status of assignment(s) with respect to schedule, budgets, delays, and adverse problems.

+ Understands and assists with the planning and scheduling of design tasks associated with assigned project.

+ Assists in interpreting industry codes, permits, and standards, and ensures design and drawing compliance.

+ Understands the role of each of the other disciplines.

**Minimum Requirements**:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or in another related field.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.

+ Proficient with Microsoft Office.

**Qualifications**:
+ Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

+ Sponsorship is not available for this position.

Additional Information

Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $23.23/hour - $31.94/hour.
