**Role Summary**: As a Youth Violence Prevention Coordinator reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, you will be responsible for building YWCA’s Youth Violence Prevention Program through the creation and implementation of trauma-informed prevention programming and training for youth ages 11-19 as well as community partners, to support the local response to and prevention of domestic violence and teen dating violence.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop & implement youth-focused prevention and education programs around teen dating violence and stalking.
- Coordinate with community project partners on identified program needs
- Provide clinical counseling to youth affected by intimate partner violence in both individual and group settings.
- Develop and deliver training to assist law enforcement and other allied professionals in supporting youth victims.
- Co-facilitate monthly task force meetings to ensure a coordinated community response to youth violence.
- Expand partnerships with youth-serving agencies and schools.
- Collect data to measure program efficiency and ensure grant compliance

**Qualifications**:

- Required Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, or a related field, NY State licensure, 8+ years of relevant experience, bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency, and 1+ year of supervisory experience.
- Maintain current licensure or a valid permit in mental health counseling or social work, fulfilling all New York State continuing education requirements.

**Physical and Other Requirements**:

- Ability to tolerate high noise levels and lift 25 pounds.
- Frequent bending, sitting, and computer use.
- Occasional driving for work purposes.
- Completion of background checks, NYS Traffic Abstract, and employment eligibility verification.
- Use of personal vehicle for work-related travel.
