**Responsibilities**:

- Patrol school premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Escort individuals from school property as necessary.
- Enforce school policies and regulations regarding behavior, including addressing disruptive or unruly individuals in a calm and professional manner.
- Communicate and cooperate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary, providing support and information as required.
- Assist in security planning and execution for special events held at the school, such as assemblies, sports events, and evening programs.
- Conduct routine inspections of school facilities and grounds to identify and report safety hazards, maintenance issues, or security vulnerabilities.
- Participate in drills and assist during actual emergencies, including fire drills, lockdowns, and evacuations.
- Be in uniform at all times with your shirt tucked in with appropriate footwear.

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Guard Card
- Powers to Arrest Certificate
- Social Security card, Drivers License/State Identification Card
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 yrs old or the minimum age required by the State
- Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Must have 2 years of experience working with kids.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure, with a commitment to maintaining professionalism at all times.
- Physical fitness and agility to perform patrol duties and respond to emergencies as required.
