Returns Fraud Analyst

Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- To ensure the security of Newegg's return policies and minimize the financial risk to the company due to fraud and abuse
- Review a daily queue to monitor incoming returns and determine inspection requirements based on risk present
- Identify and report fraud trends to ensure the latest working parameters are in place
- Assist with research and development of new fraud and risk detection models to increase efficiency
- Physically inspect returns for item accuracy, signs of damage, abuse or tampering
- Investigations require travel to multiple Newegg warehouses, 2-3 days per week. May increase during Holiday Season
- This position develops procedures for performance of a variety of duties or performs complex duties within established policy guidelines

**Qualifications**:

- High School or GED required
- Combined 2 years of experience in e-Commerce, experience with returns processing or computer component product knowledge in a trouble-shooting capacity
- Requires a high degree of professionalism and the ability to handle confidential and insider information with regularity
- Requires natural inquisitive nature to identify abnormalities and problem-solve issues in real-time
- Ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment to prioritize goals
- Highly effective communicator to all levels within the company and with clients; able to clearly articulate the company's value proposition in oral and written communications

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
