Electrical Assembly Technician

**Required Qualifications**:

- 2-4 years' experience with HMI wiring
- Basic knowledge of communication networks such as Ethernet/IP, Profinet, and EtherCAT
- Basic knowledge of VFDs, servomotors, and motion control.
- Power, control, and safety circuit design while adhering to industrial standards such as UL508A, CE, and CSA.
- Control panel layouts, schematic drawings (electrical and fluid power), and bill of materials.
- Technical Training, Trade school or other relating programs preferred.

**Essential Talents**
- Working familiarity of UL508A standard
- Adjust, repair, or replace electrical or electronic component parts to correct defects and to ensure conformance to specifications.
- Inspect or test wiring installations, assemblies, or circuits for resistance factors or for operation and record results.
- Layout and assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and mounting of electrical components, units, subassemblies, wiring, fasteners and soldering.
- Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
- Position, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.
- Confer with supervisors or engineers to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems.
