Warehouse Worker/forklift Operator

**Job Summary**: The Warehouse Worker is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving and processing all merchandise coming in or going out.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Loading or unloading merchandise for transport or warehouse inventory
- Managing all product with appropriate care
- Identifying damaged materials and immediately notify Shipping Coordinator
- Ensuring all merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping
- Collaborating with co-workers, supervisors, and personnel for a smooth workflow
- Inspecting warehouse and reporting any issue to the supervisors
- Maintaining and operating warehouse machinery and equipment for tasks
- Adhering to all safety procedures and regulations
- Cleaning the warehouse and keeping organized
- Keep the company quality policies in mind while working
- Stay up to date and follow best practices

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Must have knowledge of hand tools to build custom plywood box crates to house merchandise for shipping transport
- Knowledge of operating a forklift and or pallet jack a plus

**Education and Experience**:

- Prior experience working in a warehouse required

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and carry loads up to 80 pounds
- Some heavy lifting will be required to unload/load cargo off/on delivery trucks not accessible by forklift

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Warehouse experience: 2 years (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

- Tampa, FL 33619 (required)

Work Location: In person
