We are looking for the right person to join our team as a training assistant at Where Sit Happens

**Responsibilities may include**:

- Utilizing positive reinforcement based dog training methods to create behavior change
- Assisting with basic manner/obedience group classes
- Assisting with reactive dog, cooperative care, basic agility and other specialty classes
- Assisting with cleaning duties before, during and after classes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Understanding of and interest in positive reinforcement based training
- Experience with dogs of various breeds and sizes
- Familiarity with common behaviors of different kinds of dog breeds and breed groups
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with reactive dogs
