**Our academy seeks to fill multiple teaching/tutoring positions for our Fall Semester.**
- AP Physics 1
- AP Physics 2

We seek positive, confident, and energetic teachers to join our team and make a lasting contribution to our team effort.

**Expected qualifications, knowledge, skills, and experience include**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Physics or a related field
- Preferred at least 2 Years of AP Teaching Experience
- Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Applicants should be energetic and enthusiastic, displaying a high level of tolerance, patience, and support
- Applicants should be comfortable interacting with those of various backgrounds and professional levels, from parents to school administrators.
- Applicants should be flexible and resourceful.
- Ability to communicate well with students and families

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Create teaching strategies that will keep students engaged and encourage class participation.
- Assign homework and give and grade tests.
- Assess student performance and behavior to determine if they are learning at an acceptable level and pace.
- Communicate any concerns or issues about students to parents, and submit reports to administrators.
- Filling tutoring reports after each session with students.

**Work Schedule**
- Part-Time Schedule
- Monday to Friday and, occasionally, Weekends
- Group Class
- 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
- One-on-One Tutoring
- Start time will normally be anytime after 3:30 pm (contingent on student and tutor availability)

**Pay**
- $30-50 per hour, depending on experience and educational background.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
