**We are looking for one part-time teacher to teach AP US History and AP World History to our high school students during our summer camp. This teacher will be positive, confident, and energetic and make a lasting contribution.**

Teach HS students AP US History and AP World History.

**Expected qualifications, knowledge, skills, and experience include**:

- Bachelor's Degree in History or a related field
- 2 Years of Teaching Experience (as an HS School Teacher or Teacher Aide)
- Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Applicants should be energetic and enthusiastic, displaying a high level of tolerance, patience, and support
- Applicants should be comfortable interacting with those of various backgrounds and professional levels, from parents to school administrators.
- Experience working with high school students
- Applicants should be flexible and resourceful and communicate well with students and families.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Create teaching strategies to engage students and encourage class participation.
- Assign homework and give and grade tests.
- Assess student performance to determine if they are learning at an acceptable level and pace.
- Communicate concerns or issues about students to administrators.

**Work Schedule**
- June 10, 2024, to August 9, 2024,
- Wednesdays and Fridays
- 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm

**Pay**
- $30 to $70 per hour based on experience

**Staff Needed**

**Additional Notes**:The teacher will be responsible for preparing lesson plans.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
