**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**

**Responsibilities**:

- Will act as a Receiving clerk.
- Processes all incoming mail and packages.
- Prepares and processes all outgoing mail and packages.
- Produces Merchant Mariner credentials and medical certificates.
- Creates and manages official Merchant Mariner records (electronic and paper based).
- Records storage/upkeep.
- Prepares Mariner records for archiving, correspondence and documentation.
- Completes data entry - related to the credentialing process.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications**:

- A current Public Trust is preferred but not required to apply.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Access a plus
- Must have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
- Must have a minimum of one year business/office experience.
- Must adhere to the site's covid guidelines when applicable.
- Must be familiar with performing QC verification.
