Counts Unlimited, Inc. is currently looking to expand our workforce in Southern California providing traffic data collection services for the GRAVEYARD SHIFT.

Our office is in Riverside, and we are looking for employees that are able to work in the FIELD throughout Southern California. Although this position is a field position, it is necessary to be at our office in Riverside to start the work day.

The Traffic Data - Field Tech will be able to fill a variety of roles, however, the PRIMARY TASK will be to install temporary traffic recording video cameras, and temporary pneumatic tubes in the roadway with the use of a hammer and nails. Traffic recording cameras are installed with the use of a ladder, and pneumatic Road Tubes will be secured to the roadway by hammering nails into the asphalt that are attached to the pneumatic tubes to monitor traffic flows. This position if for the OVERNIGHT / GRAVEYARD SHIFT.

The primary work hours will be in the RANGE from 6 PM - 6 AM, however, as traffic surveys can occur at any time of the day, or week, this position requires an extremely flexible schedule. We might need to have work competed on days, nights, and weekends. You must be available to perform overnight work on a daily basis.

This role will also be responsible for secondary tasks such as: reviewing video of intersections to perform manual counts of vehicles/pedestrians and performing specialized traffic surveys, such as parking surveys, license plate surveys, and interview surveys.

Training will be scheduled and conducted during daytime hours.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
