Business Process Leader, Supply Chain

We are seeking an experienced Business Process Leader to oversee and optimize our supply chain planning and production processes. As a Business Process Leader at MurCal, you will be responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within our organization. Your goal will be to ensure efficient production schedules, manage inventory levels, and maintain smooth communication across departments.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Production Coordination**:

- Distribute production schedules or work orders to relevant departments.
- Revise production schedules as needed due to design changes, labor shortages, or other interruptions.
- Collaborate with management, marketing, sales, production, and engineering teams.
- Ensure each Bill of Material is accurate and complete.
- Work with production to create time studies and production demand planning / forecasts
- **Materials Management**:

- Arrange for the delivery, assembly, or distribution of supplies and parts to expedite material flow.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust as necessary.
- Enter forecasts into NetSuite by Oracle and utilize its Demand Planning functionality to drive inventory levels to be lean and just in time.
- **Communication and Problem-Solving**:

- Confer with department supervisors, vendors, and customers to coordinate production or shipping activities.
- Resolve complaints and eliminate delays.
- Help to create documentation for ISO9001:2015 with regards to production and materials management
- **Data Analysis**:

- Compile reports on progress of work, costs, and production problems.
- Use data to make informed decisions and improve processes.

**Qualifications**:

- Education in, Operations Management, Supply Chain Planning, or related field.
- Proven experience in production coordination, materials management, or related roles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Familiarity with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and production planning tools.
- Ability to thrive in a constantly changing manufacturing and distribution environment.
- Gains joy working in a small company and driving efficiencies.

**Benefits**:

- Salary range: $67K to $90K depending on experience.
