**Basic Functions**

PRIMARY: The primary function of the Bookkeeper/Office Manager is the **meticulous maintenance of financial records**, and the periodic reporting of results to Management. The Bookkeeper/Office Manager has full responsibility of Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, sales tax, payroll processing and payroll tax form filing, and maintaining personnel records for new hires and current employees. Anticipated spend of time is 70% on Primary functions.

SECONDARY: The Bookkeeper/Office Manager is also responsible for basic office management duties, such as office supplies management, coordination of transport for completed orders shipping to the customer, shipment of product samples out, receiving of office mail. Anticipated spend of time is 30% on Secondary functions.

**Education**

Required: High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred: Associates (or higher) degree in Accounting or related field

**Experience**

Required: Three or more years of experience as a bookkeeper/accountant in a business with sales in excess of $1,000,000.

Preferred: Five or more years of experience as a bookkeeper/accountant in a manufacturing environment.

Skills and Abilities
- Intermediate-advanced knowledge of Quickbooks / QuickBooks Online
- Intermediate general computer skills (Microsoft / PC)
- Knowledge of accounting principles and report preparation
- Must have the soft skills to professionally communicate with the office team and with customers, vendors, and other third parties
- Mental abilities are required to compute business math formulas and to enter data onto spreadsheets, journals, and ledgers as well as on the computer
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or members of the business community
- Ability to effectively communicate, in English, both verbally (in person and on the phone) and in writing
- Must be punctual and detail-oriented
- Must be self-disciplined and able to maintain organized and complete electronic and paper records

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $19.35 - $23.30 per hour
