**Encompass Community Supports, formerly known as Rappahannock Rapidan Community Services (RRCS**) is hiring a **Part-time** **Mobility Specialist **to work in our Culpeper office. Our **Part-time** **Mobility Specialist** is responsible for providing basic level client screening, person centered information, and referral on transportation options in - a prompt, courteous and professional manner. Provides travel training, trip planning, education, and outreach activities to build awareness and encourage mobility options. Collect and process data related to clients, demographics, and needs. Work directly with higher level program staff to address more complex transportation needs. Analyze, investigate, and identify comprehensive mobility obstacles on a case-by-case basis; develop, communicate, and advocate individual resolutions for clients as needed. Submit and monitor 'scholarship' requests for clients facing unique mobility obstacles. Work collaboratively with community partners to provide unique solutions to help overcome individual mobility obstacles.

**Some of the Essential Duties**:

- Screen applicants for most appropriate type of transportation services that meet their mobility status and personal capabilities, schedule transportation services with most appropriate available transportation provider.
- Collect, maintain, and analyze data on all inquiries and requests.
- Develops relationships with service providers involved in all modes of transportation in order to enhance effectiveness of one-call/one-click center.
- Coordinates services with Regional Mobility Manager under terms of contractual relationship to meet funding and regulatory needs.
- Record activities within the data software, including impact figures.
- Interacts with volunteer transportation partners to collect data, coordinate rides, and provide support.
- Supports volunteer transportation programs by providing training and volunteer data management as needed.
- Supports volunteer transportation programs by maintaining and submitting vehicle usage, trip check, and mileage reporting to stakeholders on a weekly and monthly basis. **Supports volunteer transportation programs by helping deliver and pick up vehicles for routine maintenance as needed throughout the year.**:

- Supports new mobility initiatives and projects as requested.
- Supports Spanish speaking clients in need of translation and/or stakeholders serving Spanish speaking clients with transportation needs.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Previous call center experience and knowledge of community resources for the elderly, low income and disabled preferred.
- Experience in disability issues, elderly issues, and/or other human services programs, as well as familiarity with public transportation or paratransit preferred.
- Bilingual (English/ Spanish) skills are highly desirable but not required.

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Bilingual - English/Spanish
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills: proficiency in MS office, to include Word and Excel.
- Ability to learn new software.
- Ability to gather information through an interview process.
- Skill in providing customer services professionally, promptly, courteous, customer-friendly, and responsive to the clients.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and associates. Problem solving, critical thinking, creative thinking, and mapping skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate efficiently within a team setting.
