**JOB DESCRIPTION**

Our multi-faceted family owned business with 45+ employees is seeking a skilled, experienced, detail oriented, accounting individual to join our company as the financial Controller. This position is in charge of all aspects of the company finances, manages clerical personnel, and participates in the weekly, employee-run management meetings.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Accounts Payable & Receivables oversite and entry
- Weekly vendor payment runs consisting of checks, ACHs and International Wires
- Journal Entries
- Sales Tax Filings
- Cash Management: transferring funds between accounts, line of credit and other family owned businesses
- Bi-weekly Payroll: reporting employee hours, deductions and bonuses to outside payroll service
- Account reconciliations
- Ad hoc reporting for management requests
- Credit Applications and Approvals
- All aspects of Human Resources and communications with outside employee benefit agencies
- Yearly coordination with outside CPA firm for preparation of year-end tax returns and financial statements
- Supervise and mentor the accounting team members
- Establish and maintain internal controls for financial statement accuracy
- Process Improvements to streamline paperwork flow
- Management Team Member with input to weekly meetings
- Safety Committee Member
- United Way Representative

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CMA, CPA or equivalent qualification preferred
- Prior HR experience
- Fast, accurate data entry skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and downloading/uploading from other programs
- Prior experience with SAPB1 or software implementations a plus
- Strong attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and make decisions
- A Positive “Can-Do” Attitude
- A desire to help Teammates and Customers succeed, always helping where needed

Pay: $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
