We are seeking a passionate and goal-oriented Social Media and Media Outreach Manager to join our team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in creating meaningful content, expanding our network, and booking interviews with top talent to grow our social media channels.

**Job Description**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy, including competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
- Generate, edit, publish, and share engaging content (including text, images, video, and HTML) daily to foster meaningful connections and encourage community members to engage
- Establish and optimize company pages within each social media platform to enhance the visibility of the company's social content
- Fully manage all social media channels, including responding to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly to maintain a high level of engagement and positive interaction with the audience
- Moderate all user-generated content in accordance with the moderation policy for each community
- Create and maintain editorial calendars and schedules
- Continuously analyze relevant social data/metrics, insights, and best practices to improve social media performance and inform strategic decisions
- Collaborate with various departments to manage brand reputation, identify key influencers, and coordinate joint actions
- Manage day-to-day media relations and handle media requests for the company and talent
- Cultivate relationships with key media contacts and identify opportunities for collaboration and partnerships
- Research and identify emerging trends in digital media consumption, including new YouTube channels and content creators, and stay up-to-date with industry developments to inform media strategy and content creation initiatives

Experience Needed:

- Minimum of 5 years in a social media role
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field
- Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
- Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and uphold brand image
- Proficiency in using social media for impressions and brand awareness
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms including Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Tik Tok and Facebook
- Understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics, and SEO
- Experience conducting buyer persona and audience research
- Ability to develop and implement a corporate social media strategy
- Skilled in monitoring online activity across departments and geographical areas to ensure adherence to established guidelines and best practices
- Proven ability to encourage greater social media participation and influence public perception through audience engagement
- Ability to build relationships with YouTube creators and industry professionals
- Effective written and verbal communication for crafting pitches and negotiating interviews

Pay structure:

Location: Office in Central Phoenix

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
