Bostons Higher Ground, Inc.seeks aDirector of Programs & OperationsRole of the Director of Programs & OperationsReporting to the Executive Director, the Director of Programs & Operations will have both internal and external facing responsibilities. Internal responsibilities will include finance and operations including human resources, facilities, and IT. Through the leadership and management of key organizational programs, the Director of Programs & Operations will work internally managing Higher Ground staff as well as externally with partners organizations, schools, and resident families. The Director of Programs & Operations will support the Executive Director on financial management as well as data & evaluation of organizational programs.

**Specific ResponsibilitiesProgram Management & Partnerships**: Lead the oversight and management of Higher Grounds programs to support children and families.Oversee program budgets including revenue and expenses. Work with program partners on budget reconciliation. Manage, develop, hire (as needed) and retain a team of high performing staff providing direct coordination and management.Serve as the key facilitator and organizer for all partner organizations associated with the programs and collective impact initiatives.Finance & Operations: Oversight and management of human resources including hiring, staff performance evaluation, and training. Provide support of program-related financial management, budgeting, and control practices with the support of external financial management vendor.Oversight and management of facilities and information technology services.

Ability to write and edit reports, correspondence, and presentations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and the public verbally and in writing. Meeting facilitation and public speaking skills needed. Fluency in Spanish or Haitian Creole language skills preferred.Reasoning AbilityAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
