**Job Summary**:
The Radiology Coordinator is responsible for reception, clerical and other duties within the Radiology Department. The Radiology Coordinator works closely with Radiology technologists and Radiologists to ensure proper patient handling. The Radiology Coordinator may be the first point of contact with the organization and is therefore responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients, family members, visitors, physicians, and all other medical professionals.

**Essential Qualifications**: High School Graduate or equivalent. Post-high school secretarial courses or graduate of an accredited medical secretarial program is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and basic computer skills (e.g., Word is required. ) are required. Must possess good communication skills, exhibit a caring and compassionate attitude toward patients and their families, and have the ability to handle confidential material with maturity, sensitivity, and discretion.
