Quality Data Analyst

The purpose of this role is to extract, collate and provide initial validation for Security Business Groups (SBG) Quality Data that currently resides on multiple systems. The combined and validated data that is the output of this process will be used to generate the weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports that are used across SBG to monitor and drive the quality initiatives across SBG.

**Who You'll Work With**

**What You'll Do**
- Clean and validate data to ensure its accuracy and reliability.
- Analyze data using statistical methods and data analysis tools to derive insights and make predictions.
- Identify trends and patterns in datasets and communicate synthesized data results.
- Build reports and visualizations, such as graphs, charts, and dashboards, which are easy to understand and interpret.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their data needs and provide them with insights they need to make informed decisions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

**Who You Are**

Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years experience with SQL and/or scripting languages such as Python
- 2+ years of experience with the Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Experience analyzing metrics and highlighting discrepancies

U.S. employees have **access** to quality medical, dental and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with a Cisco matching contribution, short and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance and numerous wellbeing offerings. Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
