**Title: Fire Alarm Technician**

**Location: Austin, TX**

**Duration: Contract**

The Fire Alarm Technician is primarily responsible for servicing, repairing, programming, and replacing Fire Alarm system products and panels to the prescribed standards, identifying code and non-conformance issues, and preparing accurate and timely service ticket reports.

**What You’ll Do**

Perform fire alarm system repairs, maintenance, upgrades, and replace defective parts

Perform programming on fire alarm systems

Use device manuals to repair non-functioning fire alarms and restore fire alarms to original functionality

Feed cables through access holes, roof spaces, or cavity walls to reach fixture outlets, positioning and terminating cables, wires, or strappings

Repair circuits and sensors, following wiring and system specifications

**What You’ll Bring**

Valid driver’s license

FAL License or NICET II

3+ years prior, relevant work experience

**Job Type**: Contract

**Salary**: $27.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Experience**:

- Fire alarm: 1 year (required)
- Fire sprinkler fitting: 1 year (required)
- CCTV: 2 years (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Austin, TX 78701 (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Austin, TX 78701: Relocate before starting work (required)
