_**What we are looking for at QPSI?**_

The Quality Control Line Inspector performs line inspection as part of the cGMP, SOP and policy compliance requirements. This position does not perform final release of records. This inspection process includes those tasks detailed in the _Principle Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions_ section below. The principle responsibility of every employee is to aid in the production of superior quality products.

The QC Line Inspector reports directly to the Quality Control Manager or designee. The QC Line Inspector does not involve the management of other staff or personnel and does not manage a business function. QC Line Inspector executes tasks as part of the line inspection process. The QC Line Inspector does not interact with business customers on a routine basis and does not interact with business regulators on a routine basis.
- **What our Quality Control Line Inspector will be accountable for at QPSI?**_
- Strict adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Operates independently from the production function, to assess and determine quality status of goods at each stage.
- Demonstrates independent review of quality related events.
- Reads and understands approved specifications/standards assigned to the particular project.
- Directs personnel assigned to the specific production line, concerning the quality attributes to be adhered to.
- Demonstrates the ability and skillset to direct mínimally, two production lines.
- Consistently records quality related results in accordance with prescribed good documentation practices requirements.
- Determines the need and executes the halting of operations due to adverse quality conditions in an effective and timely manner.
- Performs final review and approval of line clearance activities.
- Performs product and component verification prior to, during and subsequent to production activities.
- Execute verification of product/component against approved quality document or record.
- Continuously assesses, enforces and report cGMP compliance events at the operational level.
- Executed AQL sampling for at least two lines.
- Performs required in-process/finished goods testing.
- Real time Batch Record review for at least two lines.
- Executes on line reconciliation verification for at least two lines.
- Capture and document room conditions covering at least two lines.
- Cleans up work following the completion of a shift.
- Verifies the quality attributes of a line setup prior to the start of a shift.
- Backup responsibilities: Perform packaging line assembly tasks.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma/equivalent and entry level experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Requires the ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
- Comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to visually verify steps in process.
- PC-based computing experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access) preferred.
- ERP experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
- Basic math skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communications skills required.
- Attention to detail essential.
- Flexibility to work overtime hours as needed

Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour
