**Primary Job Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with Customer Service needs
- Manage Bar staff and act as a back up manager for all FOH employees
- Works closely with GM and owners to maintain consistency in all operations
- Assists with Hiring & Training
- POS/Toast Management
- Menu printing
- Basic Marketing Support - cocktail and bar focused
- Floor Management, as scheduled
- Monitor cash deposit from bar and making change for servers
- Assists with Supply Ordering
- Scheduling using 7Shifts

**Job Requirements**
- 3 years of experience working in a craft cocktail bar is preferred, other restaurant management will be considered
- Experience with programming Point of Sale systems (Toast) for menu updates
- Schedule availability requires a combination of day and evening shifts on week days and weekends.

**Additional Expectations**

Communicate with home office team and other entities of the business, including Heritage Catering and Fox Heritage Farms.

Provides leadership to all FOH staff and demonstrates a high level of customer service driven professionalism when resolving issues.

Ensures an outstanding guest experience and atmosphere by monitoring the presentation of our bar area and other parts of the restaurant

Assists with health and safety planning/monitoring to ensure a continuously safe and comfortable environment for staff and guests.

**About Us**

Heritage Tavern is an independent restaurant offering an upscale atmosphere with fine dining service and a fun craft cocktail bar. We have been successfully operating since 2013 and offer a vibrant menu with fresh farm to table influences and old world classics.

We operate two additional businesses in the Madison area: Heritage Catering and Fox Heritage Farms. We are a family business at the core and have staff that have been with the company for many years. We bring on new staff each season to support our teams and enjoy cross-training staff across different areas of the business.

We prioritize local ingredients from farmers in Dane county and high quality meats from our own animals and meat processing facility.

Fox Heritage Farms (Willow Creek Farms) is located in Prairie du Sac. We raise pure Berkshire hogs on small WI family farms and operate a meat processing facility that sells products both wholesale and retail.

Heritage Catering, based in Fitchburg, WI, has been providing upscale catering services to both private and corporate customers in and around the Madison area since 2012.

Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
