Accounting Clerk

El Concilio California is searching for a dedicated Accountant Clerk to assist within our Fiscal department. Responsibilities in this position involved accurately inputting day to day financial information. The Accountant Clerk must be knowledgeable of payroll processes and assist in reconciling payroll. This position must maintain organized fiscal records, reports, and claims for internal use, for use by the particular programs involved. Also, it requires extended knowledge on accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. The Accountant Clerk must work collaboratively with the CFO and other fiscal personnel in providing up-to-date cost accounting information for city, county and state programs to be used for budgeting and cost control purposes by that program.

**Employment Type**: Part-time (29 hours); Non-Exempt

**Requirements**: Background Check, Health Records/Immunizations, Valid Driver's License.

**Qualifications**: A bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is highly preferred; Associate's Degree in Accounting, or related field, and 2 years' of experience in accounting is highly preferred; A high school diploma and 2-4 years of experience in accounting in required in lieu of a degree.
