Are you a detail-oriented problem-solver with a knack for handling repairs and maintenance in a bustling urban environment? We are a property management company based in NYC, specializing in rent-stabilized apartments, and we're seeking a proactive and organized individual to join our team as a Property Maintenance Coordinator.
Position: Property Maintenance Coordinator
Location: Queens. NY
**Responsibilities**:
- Oversee repairs and maintenance tasks throughout our diverse property portfolio in NYC, including rent-stabilized apartments.
- Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure all maintenance issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to schedule repairs and upgrades.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and ensure swift resolution.
- Handle violations promptly and effectively, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Maintain open communication with tenants, scheduling repairs and addressing concerns in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with office staff to streamline processes and ensure smooth operations.
- Be a team player
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field preferred, with some background in real estate.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with NYC building codes and regulations preferred.
- Willingness to work flexible hours
Additional Details:
- This is a full-time position with paid vacation.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
