**Responsibilities**:
- Provide peer support and advocacy to individuals with behavioral health needs
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to engage and empower clients
- Serve as a mentor and role model, sharing personal experiences of recovery
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
- Assist clients in accessing community resources and support services
- Conduct crisis interventions and provide emotional support during difficult times
- Facilitate support groups and educational workshops on various topics related to mental health and addiction
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records
**Experience**:
- Lived experience with behavioral health challenges and personal recovery is required
- Knowledge of social work principles, behavioral health systems, and addiction counseling
- Strong understanding of crisis management techniques and intervention strategies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to establish rapport and build trusting relationships with clients
- Empathetic, non-judgmental, and culturally sensitive approach
- Familiarity with community resources and support services for individuals with behavioral health needs
**Job Type**: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 - 10 per week
