**Position Overview**

**Requirements for the School Principalship**:

- Must have Master's degree and an Illinois Principal Certificate, or be willing to start a program towards getting such certification.
- Must be a thoughtful leader who can inspire, lead with zeal, and work effectively with faculty and staff; able to challenge all to higher levels of achievement.
- Must be a thoughtful instructional leader who understands the principles of effective teaching and learning and can help strengthen student-centered learning environments.
- Must value and help strengthen school’s relationships with board, parents/families, parish, and community partners.
- Must have excellent listening, written, and verbal language skills.
- Must value and support a vibrant extracurricular program.
- Must demonstrate good management and organizational skills.
- Practicing Catholic preferred.
- Spanish language skills a plus.

**Principal will be hired and employed by the Archdiocese of Chicago and will receive comprehensive supports from Big Shoulders Fund.**

Support from Big Shoulders Fund includes tuition and licensure assistance, paid leadership development programming, peer networking, collaborative peer groups, and more.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
