**POSITION OVERVIEW**

The HR Generalist is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in different departments. Areas including talent acquisition, fostering positive employee relations, organization development, training and education in a multistate environment.

**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS**

**Talent Acquisition**
- Facilitate full cycle recruitment for upper management positions from creating job descriptions, job postings, sourcing through multiple recruitment channels, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting phone and in person interviews.
- Develop and broaden recruitment channels to source and retain quality talents.
- Responsible for contract negotiations in areas of development, recruitment, and temporary labor vendors.

**HR Operation**
- Provide guidance, coaching, and consultation to Branch and Regional Managers on employee relation issues, employee complaints, performance issues, and best practices.
- Provide companywide HR communications regarding policies/procedures, benefits, and company announcements.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of federal and state employment laws & regulations related to day-to-day management of employees to reduce legal risks and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Act as an advisor and internal contact to employees and managers on a board range of human resources issues.
- Develop and manage the employee exit program and analyze employee turnover.
- Develop and conduct hiring reporting and analysis across the enterprise on a monthly basis
- Audits and run bi-weekly time & attendance for all personnel
- Responds to EDD notices and employment verifications on a timely basis
- Process salary, transfers, and promotion updates for management approval

**Benefit Management**
- Develop and manage a consistent benefits program to align with business needs and growth plans, including healthcare, 401K, disability insurance, and other allowance.
- Facilitate new hire benefits enrollment and update the appropriate carriers.
- Audit monthly benefit and background check invoices to send to Payroll

**ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS**
- Ability to initiate and manage human resource policies, procedures and programs in compliance with company standards and industry best practices
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (written, oral and presentation skills)
- Ability to pro-actively plan, schedule and execute multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies, procedures and other business practices, guidelines and documents
- Ability to lead, coach and develop staff to improve performance and achieve professional goals
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from employees, customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Visio) and ADP
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Bilingual Chinese is a plus

**EDUCATION**
- Undergraduate degree in human resources, business or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in human resources coordinator position, preferably electronics or physical security industry

Pay: $55,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
