Job Summary:
The Sales Talent Development Specialist plays a crucial role in sourcing, developing, and retaining top sales talent within the organization. This position requires a combination of sales expertise, training proficiency, and talent management skills to identify, onboard, and enhance the performance of sales professionals.
- **Duties/Responsibilities**:_
- Talent Acquisition:

- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers, providing support throughout the recruitment process.
- Onboarding:

- Develop and implement onboarding programs for new sales hires to ensure a smooth transition into their roles.
- Provide training on company policies, sales processes, products/services, and tools/software.
- Sales Training:

- Design, develop, and deliver sales training programs to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of sales team members.
- Topics may include sales techniques, product knowledge, customer engagement, objection handling, negotiation skills, and closing techniques.
- Performance Coaching:

- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to sales professionals to help them improve their performance and achieve their sales targets.
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions, role-playing exercises, and performance reviews to identify strengths and areas for development.
- Professional Development:

- Identify individual and team training needs through skills assessments, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
- Recommend and coordinate additional training and development opportunities, such as workshops, seminars, and certifications.
- Sales Enablement:

- Collaborate with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to develop and implement sales enablement initiatives.
- Provide sales reps with the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed, including sales collateral, playbooks, and CRM training.
- Talent Retention:

- Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention within the sales team.
- Conduct stay interviews, exit interviews, and satisfaction surveys to gather feedback and address concerns proactively.

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication both verbal and written.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); intermediate level
- Deep understanding of sales processes, techniques, and best practices
- Proficiency in instructional design, curriculum development, and training delivery methods

**Education/Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Human Resources, or a related field
- 3-5 years of proven experience in sales recruitment, training, coaching, or talent development

**Physical Requirements**:

- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
