Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Property Management Bookkeeping Professional to join our team. As a Property Management Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of our property management operations. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to the following:

- Process payments/checks with support back-up and approvals
- Maintain A/P files (invoices, checks, etc.)
- Assists with maintaining vendor files including contracts, W-9’s and insurance both physical and digital, as appropriate
- Maintain A/R files (revenue receipts, etc.)
- Entry of all deposits
- Monthly journal entries as needed, including reconciliation of all escrow accounts.
- Bank reconciliations
- Audit work papers
- Enter property budgets into accounting software annually.

**Requirements**:

- Experience with APPFOLIO is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of public accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in bank reconciliation, double entry bookkeeping, and financial report writing
- Ability to perform account reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
