Position Area: High School Faculty
Description: Covington High School is seeking a part-time math teacher who is dual credit certified. There is a possibility for full time employment as well as ECA assignments.
The individual selected for this position will be expected to:
- Be well prepared when instructing students.
- Meet the needs of individual students.
- Maintain high expectations for student learning, achievement, and behaviors.
- Comply with all rules and regulations as set forth in Board policy.
- Maintain regular and acceptable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the building administration.
- Have a master’s degree in mathematics from an accredited college/university and will also be certified to teach dual credit math classes (Precal/Trig)
- Effectively communicate across various levels - students, parents, peers, and administrators.
