We are committed to providing best-in-class patient care, pioneering research and technology, and most importantly, rewarding and recognizing our employees Overview: As a Clinic Trainer, you will be responsible for the ongoing training of clinic staff within an assigned region. Responsibilities:
1. Able to perform all clinic front and back office functions.
2. Helps to develop clinic best practice workflows and collaborates with leadership to develop training materials.
3. Responsible for coordination of ongoing training for clinic staff and Clinic Managers.
4. Assists in the resolution of operational problems and keeps lines of communication open with staff to ensure high productivity.
5. Communicates employee problems and concerns, when appropriate, to management in order to achieve an improved rate of teammate satisfaction and performance.
6. Responds to the needs of others through effective communication, mutual respect and consistent follow through in order to generate trust and enhance personal effectiveness.
7. Participates in performance evaluations, when asked, to help assess training needs.
8. Promotes individual and organizational integrity by exhibiting ethical behavior to maintain high standards for the organization and its constituents.
9. Advances personal knowledge base by pursuing continuing education and credentialing in order to enhance professional competence.
10. Encourages a team-oriented environment supporting the AVP Mission, Vision and Core Values.
11. Knowledgeable on the provider(s) schedules/templates and able to identify potential concerns.
12. Knows, understands and follows the professional, teamwork and customer service standards.
13. Travel required as based on the needs of the clinics.
14. Shows respect and deals appropriately with co-workers, patients and visitors.
15. Other duties as assigned.
16. Assist in the rollout of clinic policies and procedures and/or education materials.
17. Participates with the Clinic Director and Clinic Manager in the identification and development of clinic specific education and outcome goals.
18. Assists in the implementation and monitoring of the outcome goals to achieve desired results.
19. Assists clinic team members to maximize resources and strengths to solve quality improvement challenges.
20. Partners with clinic leadership to ensure clinic chart audits are completed, as indicated per audit policy, to provide support when a training issue has been identified.
21. Works with the Clinic Director and Clinic Manager to ensure implementation and resolution of deficiencies.
22. Provides education programs to new team members and current team members for continuous improvement.
23. Facilitates the enrollment, scheduling and coordinates logístical details for education programs.
24. Provides direction to the Clinic Leads and Clinic Managers following the training programs and provides ongoing support and mentoring.
25. Ascertains specific training needs and implements a plan to address these needs.

26. Assists in Clinic Lead training programs as assigned.
27. Provides continuing education and in-services/materials to clinics to improve knowledge base and to meet regulatory requirements on an as needed basis.
28. Helps to ensure clinics are staying compliant with company policy and procedures.

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2-years ophthalmology or a medical setting and/or in a training position.
- Current certification as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant, Certified Patient Service Specialist or higher.
- Valid CPR certification.
- Experience in Excel, Word, and Power Point preferred.
