**Position Summary**:
Our Behavioral Health Department employs community-driven and skilled clinicians to provide integrated care in our Health Centers. We are seeking a **Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)** to join our team**.** As key mental health professionals, the LCSW provides clinical assessments and psychotherapy in our Children and Adult Behavioral Health Divisions. This current role works in our **Harlem-based** Community Health Center.
**Minimum Qualifications**:
- Master's Degree in Social Work required.
- NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Familiarity with evidence-based modalities.
- 2+ years of previous experience in a mental health clinic, hospital, behavioral health, or similar setting required.
**Key Duties**:
- Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments.
- Conducts individual psychotherapy and counseling services to children within public schools.
- Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adjust to life, and make changes.
- Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients.
- Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources.
- Provides consultation to medical providers. Collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs.
- Participates in clinical team meetings.
**Starting Compensation**:
Minimum $85,000 per year; Maximum $94,000 per year
**Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule**:
Onsite; Harlem, NY; Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
