**Duties**:
As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will:

- Maintain inventory control records using ERP system.
- Monitor usage transactions, prepare systems entries, and refer to ERP system and control records to respond to user inquiries regarding the availability of materials and track the sequences of transactions to resolve problems.
- Develop well documented reports for management and productions supervisors to update them on production plans, completed production, and projected and current differences.

- Must successfully complete a background investigation.

- Undergo an income tax verification.
- Shift Work: This facility operates on a 24 hour per day, three-shift basis, 5 days a week. Work schedules may vary and assignment to a specific shift cannot be guaranteed. The successful applicant must be available to work on all three shifts on a rotational basis.
- May be required to wear safety clothing and/or equipment required by the position. This may include safety shoes, hard hats, hearing protection, gloves, masks, etc.

**Qualifications**:

- You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
- The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume.
- For the GS-9, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-7 grade level in the Federal service**.** Specialized Experience for this position includes:

- **-Utilization of an asset tracking system and enterprise resource planning software; AND**
- **Performing physical inventories for an organization; AND**:

- **Documentary control of the receipt and or issuance of stock property items in accordance with established policies, regulations, and procedures.**
