**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Images and films County Clerk records.
- Prepares documents for imaging.
- Ensures indexing of images on both manual and automated systems.
- Indexes and verifies documents to ensure accurate archiving and retrieval ability in all County Clerk document management software.
- Implements quality control procedures to ensure integrity of documents and electronic images.
- Converts microfilm rolls and microfiche to digital image.
- Prepares FTP data transfer and bulk data sales.
- Responsible for the redaction of OPR documents according to office and state policies.
- Performs data entry of County Clerk records into all record management systems.
- Maintains personal activity reports on a daily basis.
- Performs maintenance on imaging equipment.
- Assists with the supervision of part-time employees.
- Performs all other related duties as assigned.
**Minimum Requirements**:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of six (6) full-time months experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of equipment operations, records management discipline, records management software, state laws for electronic record keeping, digital imaging concepts, production and indexing schemes.
**If hired, must provide proof of educational attainment at new hire processing.**
- Tarrant County will conduct background checks on new hires that will include a criminal background check related to convictions and deferred adjudication in the past seven years and may include credit reports, motor vehicle records, employment records and educational attainment. A conviction or deferred adjudication is not an automatic bar to employment. Each case is considered individually.
**Physical Demands and Work Environment & Other Requirements**:
- While performing the duties of this position, the incumbent is regularly required to walk, stoop, stand, sit, lift below the waist, lift between waist and shoulder, lift overhead, lift to side/twist, bend, carry, climb, push, pull, reach, reach overhead, and work at heights. Will routinely lift 25+ pounds.
