We are a small wood manufacturing shop with a close-knit team of skilled woodworkers. With a strong reputation for craftsmanship and attention to detail, we take pride in every project we undertake. We are currently seeking an experienced Custom Door Maker to join our team and contribute to our legacy of excellence.

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Design and create custom wooden doors according to client specifications and company standards.
- Operate and maintain woodworking equipment including but not limited to saws, planers, jointers, and sanders.
- Select and prepare wood materials, ensuring quality and suitability for each project.
- Assemble and finish doors.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand and meet their specifications and expectations.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Custom Door Maker or similar role in a woodworking shop.
- Proficiency in operating woodworking equipment and tools.
- Strong understanding of wood types, grain patterns, and finishing techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly understand and convey client specifications.

Expected hours: 40 per week
